we wait to be born
we wait to grow up
we wait to be fed
we wait to go to school
we wait for the bus
we wait for our friends
we wait for the rain to stop
we wait for a long time
we wait for downloads to finish
we wait for the grass to grow
we wait for paint to dry
we wait for mundane things
we spend our whole lives waiting
waiting there in line
yet these things we wait for
finally come to us
and the one thing
that we are always waiting for
because we have no choice
as time slides by
we wait to die.
